Web Design

Treat Your Brain to Simplicity.

Marketing your business online may seem daunting at first, but it doesn't have to be that way.  Start with the fundamentals and build.  I can help you stay organized and on track with systemized workflows and goal mapping.

Redesigning a large website might seem daunting at first, but once you have the your plan clearly plotted out on paper, you might find that it's not so scary after all.

Clarify Your Goals and Delegate the Busy Work.

If your creating a brand new site or just sprucing up an old one, getting started can be a little overwhelming.  Marketing, SEO, Design, Social Media Content Placement may or may not be all in a good days work for you.  I am an advocate for business owners driving the decisions behind their own marketing strategy, but I also understand that time is a valuable commodity, and most of us are too busy with our own day to day upkeep to operate the ins and outs of our marketing strategies .

But outsourcing marketing tasks does not need to break the bank.  I am here to empower you, so that you can make confident and informed decisions about your web presence and digital marketing strategy.

I am not a cookie cutter operation that will give you one size fits all solutions.  I am a reliable and experienced partner that will guide you each step of the way.

Balance Planning with Doing.

Your potential customers are mostly looking for information pertaining to their specific needs, not an elaborate discretion on your business or fancy graphic design.  If you are redesigning an existing site, try prototyping and testing along the way.  If you are building a new site from scratch, start simple, launch, and release site updates on a schedule.  This will allow you to start collecting data early on, and learn as you go.  Accomplish big things by breaking it up into collections of small things.

Website Creation Process.

The first step to creating a new website or site redesign is a massive brainstorm.  We will go over competitors sites, if you have a website already in place we will look at what is and isn't working with your current strategy, and talk a lot about your audience, goals, and history.  We will work through the information we gather to organize the project and move through the four phases of project development: Pre-production Strategy, Production and Continual Learning.

Is important for any large project and most small ones as well.  Before we start we will research and organize your project.

Once a solid game plan is in place it's now time to strategize.  Here's where decisions are made on aesthetics and approach.

Production usually happens after a bit of prototyping.  Being prepared before production starts is the key to a smooth sailing project.

Continual Learning

Now that you have launched your project, you can measure the results and adapt to new information about your audience.

Strategize, Systemize, Measure and Revise.

I can help you move past the technical jargon by putting it in simple terms.  Most of it isn't as scary as it seems.  Thanks to today's drag and drop builders and templates, you don't need to know how to write code to work on your own website.  The best way to achieve a big goal is by breaking it down into a series of small goals.  My style of project management is centered around creating a well balanced mixture of planning and doing which will help you launch quickly, continuously improve, and focus on the both the short long term.

Leah is an exceptionally talented web developer and designer. She has such a broad range of gifts and skills that her value is difficult to calculate. In the past, I have needed to hire 3-4 people to accomplish the things she did. She is a great listener and always anticipates my needs, sometimes before I even realize myself that I have them. I am extremely pleased with Leah's work and plan to stick with her for a long, long time.

Britt Andreatta ~ Author and Consultant

We’re really happy with our new site and the things it can do for us that our old site couldn’t. She was easy to work with, listened to our concerns and always tried to come up with solutions to fit our unique situation. She has a great knowledge of how things work on the back end, and guided our in-house team through the site-building process. Plus, her cheerful attitude made her fun to have around! We look forward to continuing to get her input and help as we refine our site in the future.
